Becca Schulman Havemeyer
Becca brings a diverse set of experiences and influences to her development and design projects at Beach Plum. Her approach is collaborative and creative, with a goal of honoring and enhancing the communities in which she works. She takes inspiration from each neighborhood's history and the natural environment. She loves to find the beauty and potential in properties and architectural pieces that are overlooked.
With a background in nonprofit management and experience founding and leading a consumer products company, Becca loves to build and shape new programs and products.
Her goal is to create spaces that evoke a feeling of joy, comfort and belonging. She loves to help clients find decorative pieces that fit their own unique style, create memorable experiences for guests she hosts in her properties, and collaborate with folks who spark her imagination and introduce new ideas.
Becca is especially inspired by Ingrid Fetell Lee and her Aesthetics of Joy philosophy. Copies of Ingrid’s book Joyful can be found in each Beach Plum rental property.
In her free time, Becca serves as founding partner, Board Chair emerita and advisory board member of Foot Soldiers Park & Education Center in Selma, Alabama and as a marine mammal volunteer at the New England Aquarium. Traveling with her family, swimming, snorkeling and exploring tide pools around the world, especially at her favorite bayside beach in Orleans MA, bring her a tremendous amount of joy.
May your walls
know joy; may every room hold laughter and every window open to great possibility.
