MileAway, Stowe VT

MileAway is an 1859 farmhouse located a mile away from the first lifts at the Stowe Mountain Resort, and according to our guests “the best, most beautifully designed, Airbnb in Stowe.” Painstakingly restored over a two year process by the Beach Plum team, MileAway is now a thoroughly modern retreat for families, friend groups, corporate and non-profit gatherings, private events and commercial photo shoots. We added on a barn guest house for ultimate flexibility. The property sleeps 10+ with two ensuite primary bedrooms in the main farmhouse, two fabulous bunk rooms, a private full bath for each bedroom, and incredible year-round outdoor spaces.

Our property is in the lovely year-round community of Orleans. Right at the “elbow” of Cape Cod, Orleans has both an incredible ocean beach (with fabulous surf breaks) and a calm bay beach where the daily tidal changes offer a mix of deep water for swimming, SUPing or skim boarding, and tidepool exploring on the flats during low tide. Sleeps 8+ and features two ensuite primary bedrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second.
